Description
The Forest Haven is our quietest design — sage green and soft stone, with a low, wide entrance that suits shy cats and seniors who prefer not to climb. The felt is needle-felted by hand, so every cave has a slightly different grain, like the real thing.
Features
- Hand-felted from 100% merino wool, hand-felted
- Enclosed dome shape — warm, quiet and private, the way cats like it
- Holds its shape with no frame inside — the felt is the structure
- Spot-clean most messes; hand-wash for a deeper clean
- Each piece is handmade — small variations in colour and texture are normal
Size Guide
Approximate measurements — handmade felt varies slightly from piece to piece. When in doubt, size up: a slightly roomy bed gets used far more than one that is a squeeze.
| Size | Best for | Approximate size |
|---|---|---|
| Small | Cats up to about 4kg | 40 cm diameter × 32 cm high |
| Medium | Most cats, about 4–6kg | 45 cm diameter × 35 cm high |
| Large | Big breeds & cats who sprawl | 50 cm diameter × 38 cm high |
Materials & Care
Material: 100% merino wool, hand-felted
Spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For a deeper clean, hand-wash in lukewarm water, press (do not wring) to remove water, and reshape while damp. Air-dry away from direct heat. Do not machine-wash or tumble-dry.
